Camp Four Paws provides exceptional lodging on our huge five- acre facility where our focus is customizable play and people time for your dog. Each dog needs something different and we try to accommodate all sweet nice dogs. Dogs are taken out for play and potty at least times 4 times for hours, not minutes. Seniors and Puppies go out much more often for shorter periods. Dogs sleep and eat in their own rooms for safety and security on soft snuggly beds and blankets. They can chew on their own bone or snuggle with a toy all in the comforts of our climate controlled building. Because this is an exceptionally quiet facility, dogs sleep soundly and well.
We can also customize an amazing program for each individual dog based on that dog’s needs both in regards to health, temperament and activity level.
Below is a list of our wonderful dog pleasing services:
Puppy Lodging, Socialization and Training: This program is designed to provide the most amazing puppy care in town. Play groups are handpicked to facilitate learning good puppy dog to dog skills. All unsprayed or unneutered puppies are cared for in this group.
Training Program: This program is designed to help dogs learn softer play skills. Each play group is handpicked for the skills they can bring to each other and trained Camp Counselors work with your dog to make softer play 
enjoyable. Dogs that are found to play too rough will be transferred into thisgroup. Remember, that which is rewarded is repeated so be an involved doggie parent and reward your dog when he plays well.
Day Care: This is simply an amazing activity to watch. The dogs are in heaven. Dogs joyfully play together in fun happy appropriate groups. We encourage toy based play, jumping in puppy pools, practicing known behaviors and learning new desirable behaviors. Dog owners report to us that their dogs have never been happier than after a day of day care.
Freshening and Pampering Services:
Activities and Training and all sorts of Good stuff for a customized doggie vacation:
Individual Hikes on our beautiful ridge line at the top of our mountain. Your dog will thrill in walking through our beautiful woods. He or she will get individual focused attention and practice good “off” leash walking skills ona 15 to 30 foot long line. Once we reach the top, he’ll have a view of both peaks of Mt. Diablo, snack on a homemade doggie treat and get snuggles from his fellow hiker. A day is just better with a beautiful hike. The hike can be either 30 minutes or 60 minutes. Our goal is that your dog goes home walking off leash for you.
Individual Training Session: Mental stimulation is just as important as physical stimulation. Dogs love to learn and our Camp Counselors are especially trained to teach your dog all sorts of practical and wonderful behaviors. We can help him walk on a leash politely, sit for attention, politely greet guests at the door or learn to wait in the car while you put on his leash…all very important for doggie safety!
Trick Training: We all love to train tricks. It’s the most fun part of training. There’s nothing as impressive as a dog that can do a trick. Dogs also just love all the individual attention, praise and treats that come with learning a new behavior. Just ask us and we’ll have your dog “saying his prayers” or rolling over in no time.
Introduction to Agility Training: Dogs love agility no matter their size. It’s an activity that not only exercises the dog but builds the human dog relationship. Whether it’s jumping over the hurdles or running through the tunnel, dogs thrill at learning agility. Your dog is going to love this.
Individual Game of Fetch, Frisbee or Tug: Some dogs prefer to fetch or tug on a one on one basis. It just makes their day complete. Treat your dog to an individualized fetch or tug session. We can even play fetch in the pool!
Pampering:
Wonderful Bath: We believe one of the joys in life is a clean sweet smelling dog. Here at Camp we give an incredible Hydrosurge bath which gets them extra clean. A light massage and a spritz of conditioner and your dog is one happy camper and so are you!
Nail Trim: We will be happy to help you with this and can even show you how! Just ask any Camp Counselor to show you.
Massage: We strongly believe that massage is a wonderful addition to a day of play and exercise. It helps to relax, rejuvenate and renew those tired muscles. The dogs absolutely love that extra touch time. Let your dog experience the ultimate in relaxation. We highly recommend this service for senior dogs.
Quiet Cuddling and Brushing: Some dogs just love to be brushed. They fall asleep to the rhythmic strokes. It is also helpful for a healthy skin and coat and to reduce shedding. This is especially great for dogs that benefit from being brushed regularly or matt easily (King Charles, Doodles, Goldens, Collies, etc.)
Teeth Brushing: We all know that we need to brush our dogs teeth just like we do our own but we just don’t always have enough time. We can help you with that. We have especially tasty doggie tooth paste (Duncan’s favorite is chicken) that will make the experience extra yummy for your dog. The treatment is ended with a doggie mint for a healthy mouth.
Ear Cleaning: For allergy prone dogs ear cleaning is essential for good ear health. We will gently clean each ear with especially formulated ear cleaner. The ears are gently massaged so that the debris breaks up and is easily removed with a soft cotton ball. Ear cleaning is paired with a yummy treat to build positive associations with a task that will need to be done the entire dogs life. We’ll teach him to love it.

We're the Perfect Camp Site for Long Term Camping. Is a contractor working on your house, is your house up for sale, or are you busy working on a project and just don't have time for your sweet pup? If so, let them come play, train, have fun and be safe. This is our specialty.
Overnight Camping Fees for 1 Month or More are Based on Length of Stay.
Discounts for CGC and/or CD Achievment(s)
Camp Four Paws rewards those owners who's dogs have achieved CGC and/or CD recognition.
