Our two dogs just spent several days at camp and had a great time. I could tell they were relaxed when I picked them up and tired. I think they were disppointed to be a home where life is a bit more boring despite being taken on long walks and going to dog parks. Now I don't have to feel guilty for leaving them behind because they are on vacation too. It is so different when I would pick them up at other kennels and they would appear frightened. Camp Four Paws, Troy in particular, has been incredible for our dog, Jack. He thoroughly enjoys his adventures at camp so we always rest easy when we have to travel and he's there, no matter how long we're away. Troy is very professional, courteous and very flexible when it comes to scheduling Jack's time at camp. Each and every experience with Camp Four Paws has been positive. Juneau had a fantastic time at camp while we were on vacation! Since it was his first time away from home we were a bit worried but when when I picked him up from camp he looked great; he was happy and healthy and he had made good friends with the other "campers" and staff at 4 Paws. Juneau will be visiting camp throughout the year! We're so glad he has a home away from home!   Added: August 22 2002

Camp Four Paws is the best! My dog, CoCo loves it there and now I don't feel guilty when I can't take her with me on vacation. I know she is having a great time. I have never met anyone else who is so concerned about the dogs' welfare and so understanding of their behaviors as Troy. We have learned so much from her. The last time CoCo visited Camp Four Paws, Troy told me that she was very concerned about CoCo's weight. My vet and I had been trying to slim her down with diet and exercise, but it wasn't making any difference. Troy checked her coat and suggested that we test her thyroid. That was it! She is now on thyroid medication, has lost 20 pounds and is happy and healthy.   Added: June 08 2002

Camp Four Paws is absolutely the best! We have been here many, many times, and Troy has always gone above and beyond, not only to care for (and play with!) my dogs, but to give me insight into their behavior and personality. She even spent extra time teaching ME to work more effectively with my dog. The welfare of all the dogs is her priority, so she does careful, kind, and appropriate personality testing. Not all potential clients may be pleased to have a dog turned down, but I appreciate that the safety at Camp Four Paws is not compromised. And once that is taken care of, it's fun, fun, fun for those lucky dogs.   Added: May 18 2002

I spent 12 days at camp while my parents were in the Bahamas. I was very very scared at first but after a couple of days managed to fit right in. Troy, I miss all the fun I had while at camp. Mom and Dad aren't home during the day to do all of the fun things that we did while at camp. I missed them while they were away but gotta say that your camp is paws above the rest! Bosco and Smokey are 2 very young and active labs who love all the excitement of camp four paws. They love playing with all the other dogs and have fun excercising. When we can't be home to spend time with them , we make sure the get picked up and taken to camp. When we finally get home to see them they are happy and tired dogs. Something we don't always have the time to do...excersise them for hours at a time.Camp four paws is not just a dog waling service or kennel it's a full service doggie resort!!!! thank you for taking care of our babies Troy !!!
